The center is slated to serve as a working guitar and stringed instrument company specializing in handcrafting highly regarded instruments.

 

Kentucky Guitar Works is dedicated to building and strengthening an art-based economic sector through education, business development and support services for bluegrass music artists and luthiers as well as other music genres. This sector includes crafters, musicians, storytellers and others who carry on the cultural traditions of bluegrass music.
